Job Title: Firmware Engineer 2
Job Site: Cupertino, CA
Job Description:
- Responsible for development of firmware/software, software interfaces for different hardware blocks and improvement of company's products and related systems.
- Will work with embedded software team to develop imaging solutions, analyze systems and assist in the development of imaging solutions.
- Will work with field application engineers, systems engineers, and quality and control engineers to achieve customer goals.
- Will also provide support to customers on issues involving firmware, embedded systems, operating systems, and computer architecture.
Qualification:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Coursework in digital signal processing and image processing
- Use of debugging firmware tools (gcc, gdb and/or JTAG).
- Development of test plans (feature, stress and performance tests)
- Implementation and testing of wireless data transfer protocol;
- Work with oscilloscope, logic analyzer and spectrum analyzer;
- C++, Java, MySQL.
