Nethra Imaging Completes Acquisition of Assets of Ambric
Acquisition Extends Imaging Technology with Massively Parallel Processing Solutions
Santa Clara, Calif. – April 6, 2009 – Nethra Imaging, Inc. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Ambric, Inc. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, Ambric is a supplier of a new type of software-programmable, high-performance ICs based on a Massively Parallel Processor Array (MPPA) architecture. Ambric's products, which are currently shipping into the media processing and medical imaging markets, have helped companies accelerate time to market for their products while slashing development costs.
